OUR HISTORY

 

Pastor E acknowledged his call to ministry and preached his first sermon in 2002. He attended and graduated from the T.D. Iglehart School of Ministry with honors and was ordained an Elder in July 2009. He continued to faithfully serve under the leadership of the late Superintendent Burah Gatlin, Jr. until in November 2012, when he received a Word from the Lord that it was time to move. He secluded himself until January of 2013 when he announced that he would be founding a new ministry as directed by God, with services for the new ministry beginning in his home in February 2013 under the tentative name of "Pentecostal Faith". But while attending a Family and Friends service in March 2013 Pastor E heard the scripture, "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:4). After hearing this, the Lord said, "this is it!". And at that moment Newness of Life was birthed.

Pastor E is a prayerful man led by God and the vision that God gave him is to "TEACH THE WORD OF GOD WITH SIMPLICITY AND UNDERSTANDING BECAUSE WE ARE A MINISTRY THAT HAS BEEN CALLED TO BUILD PEOPLE OF PURPOSE, POWER AND PRAISE. WE WILL GO FORTH AND EVANGELIZE, EQUIP, ENCOURAGE AND EMPOWER ALL THOSE WE COME IN CONTACT WITH BECAUSE WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAKING A MARK THAT CANNOT BE ERASED."

Newness of Life Worship Center is a GROWING church for GROWING people whom Christ will use in GROWING His Kingdom.
