Pastor E. is a charismatic leader, visionary, forerunner and provocative thinker who serves as pastor of Newness of Life Worship Center -- a cutting edge church for the community for such a time as this, located in the heart of Tomball, Texas.
Pastor E is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and has served in many leadership roles within the church. He has an authentic love for God, a contagious energy, a compassionate heart, strong kingdom principles and a warm smile. He continues to make an undeniable impression in ministry through his teaching and preaching of an anointed, relevant, timely word from God. And with sincere love for people, he is a passionate advocate for community transformation and development. Pastor E is known for extending a hand of help to the needy, having a heart of compassion for the hurting and delivering a message of inspiration to the disenfranchised.
His goal in ministry is to assist as many people as possible to make it to heaven -- while at the same time letting them know they can achieve God's best for their life here on earth. And it has been through faithfulness to the Word of God and family, along with personal integrity and accountability that has allowed Pastor E to continue to grow as an example of Godliness.
Pastor E is happily married (since 1987) to his high school sweetheart, the lovely Mrs. Carol Lynette and they have 2 grown sons.

Lady C is a powerful speaker, innovative visionary and writer who proudly serves with her wonderful husband and pastor - Apostle Edward Matthews. Born the first of three girls, this godly woman was raised in Tomball, Texas and is the mother of two handsome men, Adrian Lamar and Aaron Jamar.
Lady C is known for her warm heart and her ability to make everyone around her feel special. She has a motherly instinct that compels her to care for others as if they were her own family. Among her spiritual gifts, God has given her a unique gifting of discernment, laying on of hands, prophesy and exhortation. Moreover, Lady C is particularly anointed to reach hurting women with the ministry of reconciliation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her own triumphs over personal tragedies enable her to share, from experience, God's ability to heal all of life's painful wounds. She believes that, "Transparency coupled with the love of God changes lives", which she shares abroad.
Her philosophy for ministry is found in II Corinthians 3:17 - "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
Lady C is an admirable and exquisite example of a virtuous woman, a pastor's wife, a mother, a mentor, an evangelist, a "down to earth sista" and leader -- she is truly a Leading Lady! Most of all, she is a woman that seeks to please and praise God.
